King Shocks’ Drivers Conquer the 2013 King of the Hammers

Randy Slawson of Bomber Fabrication from Grand Terrace, CA. took the overall win with a dominating finish of just over 7 Hours 28 Minutes, and a full 20 minutes ahead of second place. Of the 129 starters only 21 would finish and reveals just how difficult the KOH Ultra 4 Racing Event is on drivers, vehicles, and equipment. 9 of those official finishers were equipped with King Shocks.

Robby Gordon Launches New Race Series, Stadium Super Trucks

Robby Gordon lit up the Los Angeles Coliseum with his announcement of his new Stadium Super Trucks (SST) shortcourse series that will commence in 2013. Details are yet to be finalized but initial information about the series says it will include SST spec trucks, Monster Trucks and UTV’s racing on a shortcourse style track.

Cooler By Design

The temperatures on the shock with the finned reservoir were up to 107 degrees cooler then the same shock with a standard reservoir. That’s a 30% reduction in peak temperature under the most extreme racing conditions. The new finned reservoir from King is durable, has no moving parts and is proven to reduce temperatures. The finned reservoir is currently available for 4.0 and 4.5 diameter shocks with more applications in the works. When you ride on King shocks you’ll know, there really is a difference. Nothing rides like a King.

King Shocks Racers Strike it Rich at BITD, Silver State 300

Bj is not the only driver happy with their King shocks, King drivers took ten first place finishes at the Silver State race. Robby Gordon and Tim Casey have both won their classes three races in a row this season. “The high speed sections can easily lure a driver into a costly mistake,” said Tim Casey, “there are tons of silt beds that can stop you dead in your tracks and on the tight mountain sections you are just inches away from disaster. We almost got stuck in the silt three times; there is no room for error on this course.”

Kyle LeDuc Dominates Pro-4 in the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series

“Domination is what Kyle LeDuc and #99 is all about,” Says Kyle, “A lot of people have come together to make it possible and King Shocks is a big part of our success.” Kyle is concentrating exclusively on the Pro-4 class this season with his own team sponsored by Monster Energy Drink and Toyo Tires. Richard Holmes and Kevin Huseman join him in the pits. They are running the same truck from last year with the addition of Kevin’s extensive tuning knowledge to make it perform flawlessly regardless of track conditions. To make matters worse for the competition, Kyle has even more potential available that he says he will use when the time is right.
