-CNC Mill operator will be setting up, operating and programming CNC machines with Fanuc and Haas controls. The operator will interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions.  The CNC operator will inspect work pieces throughout a production run.

CNC operators will additionally clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts. They must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. They will communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control employees and other personnel for assignments, and to resolve machining or quality issues as well.


Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm

-CNC Lathe operator will oversee the CNC machines. They will interpret blueprints, manuals and other work instructions. They also study sample parts to determine dimensions of finished work pieces and CNC equipment setup requirements. They then set the machine and load it with the correct cutting tools.  The CNC operator will inspect work pieces throughout a production run. In addition, the machinist will measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.

CNC operators will additionally clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts. They must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. They might have to communicate with supervisors, engineers, production control employees and other personnel for assignments, and to resolve machining or quality issues as well.

Schedule M-F 2:00pm-2:00am

Requirements:

-       Candidate must have a minimum 8 years of experience as a CNC Lathe operator.

-       Programming ability as well as familiarity with Mori Seiki machines is a plus.

-       Twin spindle is a plus as well as live tooling experience.

-       High School Diploma or GED

-       Able to pass pre-employment testing

Design Engineer                                                                           

Designs, develops, or modifies products, applying engineering principles.  Responsible for researching and developing ideas and processes for new components and assemblies. Locates and approves vendors for new processes.  Oversees and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products and systems.  Analyzes current designs for ways to improve performance.  Determines nature of technical problems and possible solutions, such as product redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.

Job Duties:          

  • Creates and maintains designs for components, subassemblies and finished product.

  • Specify materials, tolerances and manufacturing processes.

  • Testing, Validation and Tuning of product.

  • Design custom kits to meet customer specifications.

  • Design and fabricate any needed brackets or fixtures.

  • Document design decisions and changes.

  • Create 3D models and drawings of designs.

  • Manage projects from design to initial production.

  • Ensure all designs meet company standards for performance and durability.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 4 – 10 years of Engineering experience.

  • Product Design Experience.

  • Experience with 3D CAD, Solid Works is preferred.

  • Must have automotive experience. (work or hobby related)

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.

  • Excellent writing and verbal skills.

  • Able to pass pre-employment testing.


Preferred Knowledge /Experience:

  • Motorsport experience a plus.

  • Formal Mechanic training/experience.

  • Off-road background a plus.
